Commissions

When commissioned the artist takes into account the client, the brief, dimensions and placement.

“Christie uses delicate drips and threads them together to form lace-like filigree, overlaid with an atmospheric turbulence. Together this forms an environment where her circle motif continues its journey. They are exciting to read; strings and floods of paint, coagulate and run, warp and weave over the canvas, matte and gloss, light and shade, the canvas is alive with activity, simplified and defined by the dominance of the circle and how it relates to its environment.” deRooy, 2010.

Corporate Commissions

Caroline Christie's larger works, some of which are notably dynamic and energetic, contribute significantly to the surrounding space. These pieces are particularly well suited for corporate environments, when scale and proportions are significant. In these situations, when it is important how the art relates to and effects a particular environment, commissioning the artist may offer an optimum result.

Private commissions

Caroline Christie enjoys private Commissions as a relational experience. Due to the nature of her work, the process and experience with the client is valued and lends itself to subjective abstraction based on the psychological principles which under lie her work.

For the artist the client becomes a part of the subject.
